What is Unique Hotel?

Juniper Unique Hotel is the module of Juniper Booking Engine that will allow you to offer unique hotel results, without duplicates, and prioritise them by price or seller.

Unique Hotel aims to unify accommodations from different sellers, providing a list of hotels without duplicates, offering either the hotel with the lowest price or the prioritised seller. With this module, you will have access to a large database of hotels worldwide.

Unique Hotel Add-on by Vervotech

What is it?

The technological combination of Juniper and Vervotech, through the Juniper Vervotech division, minimises hotel mapping errors to ensure efficient and accurate reservations for customers.

The Unique Hotel Add-on by Vervotech increases Juniper’s mapping accuracy from 98% to 99,9%, preventing the display of incorrectly mapped hotel offers for customers.

Thanks to the combination of algorithms from Juniper and Vervotech, powered by artificial intelligence (AI), data undergoes double verification, reducing errors and conflicts for customers.

Automated Seller product download process.

With this process, we obtain a Database with all accommodation from all the sellers we work with.

Juniper Booking Engine will then map the Acommodation from each Sellers against one ID generated internally for each Acommodation, thus creating the unique hotel ID (code JP000000).

Juniper Booking Engine carries out the maintenance tasks on these Unique Hotels (creation, update and mapping).

During the search process with Unique Hotel ID, the accomodation that does not have a Unique ID associated to it wll not appear.

With Unique Hotel, the search results will show the acommodation from the best prices Seller (by default), or the acommodation with the highest priority (according to our customer’s configuration).

  • Duplicate Unique Hotel checking utility.
  • External Accommodation mapping checking utility.
  • Acommodation in sellers not mapped to unique Hotel checking utility.

The Vervotech Add-on performs a double verification during the booking rules and confirmation step, comparing accommodation codes between Juniper (JP) and Vervotech configuration.

If a discrepancy between the codes of Juniper and Vervotech is detected during the booking process, a warning is generated and notified within the Juniper API, allowing for the identification and correction before confirming the booking. If the booking is confirmed, any discrepancy is reflected in the booking summary on the Juniper Booking Engine Intranet, thus improving the accuracy and reliability of the booking process.
