Timeline of our history

Our market experience allows us to carry out research and development of new features in a constantly changing and evolving sector. At Juniper, over 400 experts in technology and travel work to help tourism companies speed up their global growth through our tailored travel technology solutions.

2003

Juniper Travel Technology is born

We were born with the mission to transform the travel industry through cutting-edge software solutions. Backed by a team of tourism and technology experts, we quickly became a benchmark in the sector.

2009

Expansion in the Middle East

We strengthened our international presence by expanding into the Middle East with a growing client portfolio in the region we consolidated our role as a global technology partner for the travel industry and by 2009 we proudly surpassed 89 active Clients worldwide.

2014

Constellation Software Inc. (TSE)

We are part of Constellation Software Inc. (TSE:CSU), a software consortium listed on the stock exchange with revenues of more than 5 billion dollars and an EBITDA of 1 billion dollars. Since then, we have been part of its operating division, Vela Software. In 2021, Juniper Group, was founded, a portfolio of companies under Vela Software, to which Juniper currently belongs as a business unit.

August of 2022

New acquisition: IST – Redefining Cruise Business

We welcomed IST into our ecosystem, a leading technology company in cruise distribution and online sales. From this acquisition, the division Juniper Cruises by IST was created, incorporating IST’s advanced technology and highly specialized team into our structure to deliver robust and tailored solutions for the cruise industry.

November of 2022

New division: Juniper Airlines Vacations

We added the new Juniper Airlines Vacations division aimed at airlines to our organisation. With this new technology, we offer airlines the opportunity to increase their profits by offering their customers a more extensive product portfolio.

June of 2023

New office in Salamanca

We inaugurated a new office in Salamanca, focused on the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and cybersecurity applied to tourism. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation and security within the industry.

August of 2023

New acquisition: Vervotech

As part of our commitment to strengthening our content capabilities, we acquired Vervotech, a company specialized in hotel mapping and room data. This integration led to the launch of the division Juniper Vervotech, enhancing our capabilities in hotel mapping technology, further enhancing our solution offerings.

November of 2023

New division: Juniper Experiences by NexusTours

We welcome a new era with the launch of the division Juniper Experiences by NexusTours. This division combines Juniper’s leading technology with the exceptional destination services of NexusTours, a result of our strategic alliance.

July of 2024

New acquisition: Lleego

To reinforce our presence in the air travel sector, we acquired Lleego, a company recognized for its expertise and powerful solutions in flight distribution. As a result, the division Juniper Flights by Lleego was established, expanding our product portfolio with flexible, scalable, and highly connected solutions for the airline industry.

October of 2024

New acquisition: Dome Consulting S.L

Dome Consulting S.L is part of Juniper Travel Technology as a new Business Unit. Dome is a technology company specialised in the tourism sector with more than 20 years of experience. Its current focus is on incoming operators to whom it provides an integral solution that encompasses all business processes, from the contracting of services to their distribution and sale at destination.

June of 2025

New acquisition: RezMagic, LLC.

RezMagic, a specialized software provider in theme and travel event management, becomes part of Juniper Travel Technology. Rezmagic’s combines a customer-oriented booking engine with a powerful back-end management system.
